On the evening of September 12th, Marvin's PTA collaborated with Sweet Ashley's to raise funds for the school. From 6-9, 15% of sales went to Marvin. A great number of students turn out and they were all surprised to see their teachers scooping ice cream!

"I thought it was a lot of fun and I liked seeing all of my friends from school together" - Ben, 4th grade.

"I thought it was an amazing event! It was a great way to meet parents before Open House. I thought it was awesome to see the students in a different setting besides school. A lot of students were surprised to find us scooping ice cream, so it was fun to see their reactions." - Ms. Esperance, 5th grade teacher

"I thought the event was fantastic! I felt it was great to be able to collaborate with a business in our community to develop funds for the school. I realized scooping ice cream might be harder than teaching!" Mrs. Suda, 5th grade teacher
